American Health Quality Association – @AHQA

The American Health Quality Association (AHQA) is an educational, not-for-profit national membership association dedicated to promoting and facilitating fundamental change that improves the quality of health care in America. Since 1984, AHQA has represented Quality Improvement Organizations (QIOs) and other professionals working to improve health care quality and patient safety.


Beneficiary & Family Centered Care National Coordinating Center – @BeneProtection

The Beneficiary and Family Centered Care National Coordinating Center (BFCC NCC) supports Beneficiary and Family Centered Care – Quality Improvement Organizations (BFCC-QIOs) as they work to improve health care services for Medicare beneficiaries by coordinating statutory review functions such as care reviews, beneficiary complaint reviews, discharge and termination of service appeals in many provider settings, medical necessity reviews, and Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA) reviews. The BFCC NCC also provides BFCC-QIOs with Medicare case review training, resources and technical support.


Carmen Gonzalez – @crgonzalez

Ms. Gonzalez is a seasoned health care communications expert and possesses more than 17 years of experience in brand marketing, proposal drafting, product management, corporate communications, and strategic planning. Her expertise includes the promotion of quality improvement best practices, cultivation of business partnerships in the health care and pharmaceutical arenas, qualitative and quantitative research, and creative development of new media. She presently serves as Communications Project Manager for Health Services Advisory Group, the Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization for Arizona, California, Florida, Ohio, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.


Econometrica – @EconometricaMD

Econometrica is a research and management organization established to provide public- and private-sector clients with customized program support services. Econometrica works with multiple agencies to provide high-quality, cost-effective analyses, modeling, and economic evaluations.


End Stage Renal Disease National Coordinating Center – @ESRDNCC

The End Stage Renal Disease National Coordinating Center (ESRD NCC) serves as the hub for the 18 ESRD Networks, functioning as a knowledge repository of Network-generated information (including best practices and lessons learned) and performing aggregate data analysis and interpretation of data from the Networks. The goal of the ESRD NCC is to provide leadership, coordination, and support for the achievement of common quality improvement goals for the 18 Networks, while providing a single communications and organizational vehicle for the Government to achieve the strategic goals of the ESRD Network Program.


Lisa Morrise – @LisaMorrise

Lisa Morrise is a patient advocate and was the patient co-lead on the Patient and Family Engagement Affinity Group for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Partnership for Patients. She also works as a patient lead for CMS’ Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation Transforming Clinical Practice Initiative and Medication Management & Safety Affinity Group.

Mary Andrawis, Pharm.D, MPH – @MaryAndrawis

Dr. Andrawis is currently Executive Director of Medication Safety and Quality at Health Services Advisory Group. She was previously the Senior Advisor for CMS’ Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation and served as the Medication Safety Lead for the Partnership for Patients campaign. The campaign succeeded in exceeding its ambitious aims of reducing preventable harm by 40% and reducing readmissions by 20% in more than 4,000 hospitals across the nation.


National Quality Forum – @NatQualityForum

The National Quality Forum (NQF) is a private, independent, nonprofit, membership organization established in 1999 at the recommendation of a Presidential advisory commission. Its purpose is to bring healthcare stakeholders together to evaluate and recommend quality measures that reduce costs and improve care.

Based in Charleston, West Virginia with offices throughout the Mid-Atlantic, Quality Insights is a regional and national resource for health care quality improvement, specializing in measures development and maintenance, data collection and analysis, collaborative learning and diffusion, and individualized technical assistance.
